Budweis Minisymposium on Stochastic Geometry

About the minisymposium: The main topics of the conference are Stochastic Geometry, Spatial Statistics, Image analysis and Stereology. All presentations will be approximately one hour long and the emphasis in presentations will be given to the methodology and proving technics.

 

Organization: Tomáš Mrkvička (University of South Bohemia, České Budějovice)

Supported by: Jan Rataj (Charles University, Prague) and Viktor Beneš (Charles University, Prague).

Registration: A fee of  1200 Kč will be charged at the registration desk. (The fee includes all conference materials, all meals and coffee breaks.) Please register on the email mrkvicka@pf.jcu.cz until 30th April.

 

Accommodation: The organizers can arrange an accommodation in the university hostel at the Minisymposium venue. The Price is 250 Kč per night. Please register this accommodation on the above email until  30th April. Another accommodation can be find on this web site.

 

Minisymposium Venue: The minisymposium takes place at Faculty of Nature Sciences, University of South Bohemia and Colleges of University of South Bohemia, Branišovská 31, České Budějovice. The minisymposium building is called „Bobík“.

 

Travel information:

Travel by car to České Budějovice and follow the enclosed maps.

            Travel by train or bus to České Budějovice, take city bus number 3 direction “Sídliště Máj” and get off at the station “Jana Opletala”.

About České Budějovice: České Budějovice is a city, which is situated between Prague and Linz. The city has the largest square in the middle Europe. The black tower, from which all surrounding is available to see, is also interesting. Close to the city are the medieval Český Krumlov, the second nicest city in Czech Republic, and castle Hluboká also worth to see.
