Tom\u00e1\u0161 Jan\u00edk, Ph.D. je absolventem oboru U\u010ditelstv\u00ed pro 1. stupe\u0148 z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u0161koly (se zam\u011b\u0159en\u00edm na n\u011bmeck\u00fd jazyk) na Pedagogick\u00e9 fakult\u011b MU a magistersk\u00e9ho oboru Educational Management na University of Derby. Na P\u00e4dagogische Akademie des Bundes in Wien absolvoval ro\u010dn\u00ed kurz dal\u0161\u00edho vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed Lehrgang Reformp\u00e4dagogik. V&nbsp;letech 2001-2004 studoval doktorsk\u00fd obor Pedagogika na PdF MU a na \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u00fd \u00favazek vyu\u010doval na z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u0161kole. V&nbsp;roce 2008 absolvoval habilita\u010dn\u00ed \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed a v roce 2018 \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed ke jmenov\u00e1n\u00ed profesorem v oboru Pedagogika na PdF MU, kde vede Institut v\u00fdzkumu \u0161koln\u00edho vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed a p\u016fsob\u00ed jako prod\u011bkan pro v\u00fdzkum a akademick\u00e9 z\u00e1le\u017eitosti. V letech 2009\u20132011 soub\u011b\u017en\u011b pracoval ve V\u00fdzkumn\u00e9m \u00fastavu pedagogick\u00e9m v Praze, kde vedl celon\u00e1rodn\u00ed v\u00fdzkum kurikul\u00e1rn\u00ed reformy. V&nbsp;letech 2007-2014 byl vedouc\u00edm redaktorem \u010dasopisu Pedagogick\u00e1 orientace. V letech 2010\u20132016 byl \u010dlenem pracovn\u00ed skupiny pro pedagogiku, psychologii a kinantroplogii a od roku 2014 p\u0159edsedou pracovn\u00ed skupiny pro oborov\u00e9 didaktiky Akredita\u010dn\u00ed komise (v&nbsp;roli editora se pod\u00edlel na monografii Oborov\u00e9 didaktiky: bilance a perspektivy a na R\u00e1mcov\u00e9 koncepci p\u0159\u00edpravy u\u010dittel\u016f pro Z\u0160 a S\u0160). V roce 2014 se zapojil do zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed v\u00fdsledk\u016f mezin\u00e1rodn\u011b srovn\u00e1vac\u00edho v\u00fdzkumu TALIS. V&nbsp;letech 2015-2017 byl \u010dlenem poradn\u00edho t\u00fdmu ministryn\u011b \u0161kolstv\u00ed. Odborn\u011b se zam\u011b\u0159uje na problematiku reforem ve vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed, u\u010ditelsk\u00e9 profesionalizace, kurikula a vyu\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed a u\u010den\u00ed. Metodologicky se profiluje v oblasti v\u00fdzkumu zalo\u017een\u00e9ho na anal\u00fdze videoz\u00e1znamu. Na PdF MU vyu\u010duje metodologii v\u011bdeck\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce, komparativn\u00ed pedagogiku a didaktiku.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. PhDr. Mgr. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Jan\u00edk, Ph.D. is a Primary School Teacher Training graduate (specialising in German as a foreign language) at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, as well as an Educational Management Master\u2019s degree holder from the University of Derby. In addition, he participated in a further education course, Lehrgang Reformp\u00e4dagogik, at P\u00e4dagogische Akademie des Bundes in Vienna in the course of the year 2001. Between 2001\u20132004 he studied in the Educational Sciences doctoral programme at the Faculty of Education, MU, and taught part-time at a basic school at the same time. In the year 2008 he habilitated, and in 2018 he was appointed as Professor in the field of Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Education, MU, where he works as a Head of the Institute for Research in School Education and serves as a Vice-Dean for Research and Academic Affairs at present. Between the years 2009\u20132011 he worked in parallel at the Institute for Education Research in Prague where he led the national research into curricular reform. Between 2007\u20132014 he acted as an Editor-in-Chief of Pedagogick\u00e1 orientace journal. From 2010 to 2016 he was a member of the Education, Psychology and Sport Studies working group of the Accreditation Commission; furthermore, he has been a head of the Subject Didactics working group of the Accreditation Commission since 2014 (acting as an Editor-in-Chief of the Subject Didactics: Review and Prospects monograph as well as The Framework Concept of Basic and Higher-Secondary School Teacher Education). He participated in processing the results of the 2014 TALIS international comparative research. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Minister of Education\u2019s advisory board. He aims his professional focus on the issues of educational reforms, teacher professionalization, curriculum, and teaching and learning. Regarding research methodology, he concentrates predominantly on research based on video recording analysis.
