How can drawings help us to support students in meaningful learning?

Specifically, at the Faculty of Biology. She is responsible for training of biology preservice teachers and reflection of their practice at school, at the same time she is actively involved in the further professional development in-service teachers. She was a Fulbright scholar and gained experience teaching in the United States. In her professional work, she is focused on the analysis of drawings in relation to the exploration of the cognitive knowledge of students, using drawings as a diagnostic tool to assess students’ knowledge and ideas about various organisms or natural science phenomena, but also as a means of building knowledge and graphic solutions to natural phenomena and problems.
