Prof. Erin Marie Furtak, PhD<\/strong>, je profesorkou STEM vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed na University of Colorado v Boulderu. Svou profesn\u00ed dr\u00e1hu za\u010d\u00ednala jako st\u0159edo\u0161kolsk\u00e1 u\u010ditelka p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch v\u011bd. Pot\u00e9 se za\u010dala v\u011bnovat v\u00fdzkumu toho, jak se u\u010ditel\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch v\u011bd u\u010d\u00ed a jak\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem zlep\u0161uj\u00ed sv\u00e9 ka\u017edodenn\u00ed postupy ve t\u0159\u00edd\u011b prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm formativn\u00edho hodnocen\u00ed. Ve sv\u00fdch studi\u00edch a v\u00fdzkumech spolupracuje s u\u010diteli, \u0161kolami a \u0161koln\u00edmi obvody, aby se dozv\u011bd\u011bla, jak mohou u\u010ditel\u00e9 navrhovat, prosadit a prov\u00e1d\u011bt v\u00fdukov\u00e9 akce na z\u00e1klad\u011b hodnocen\u00ed ve t\u0159\u00edd\u011b, kter\u00e9 samostatn\u011b navrhnou. Jej\u00ed ned\u00e1vn\u00e9 publikace zkoumaly zp\u016fsoby, jak m\u016f\u017ee takov\u00e9 hodnocen\u00ed ve t\u0159\u00edd\u011b podpo\u0159it spravedliv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zapojen\u00ed do v\u00fduky STEM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Furtak obdr\u017eela v roce 2011 ocen\u011bn\u00ed Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) a stipendium n\u011bmeck\u00e9ho kancl\u00e9\u0159e od Nadace Alexandra von Humboldta (2006). Jej\u00ed v\u00fdzkum je publikov\u00e1n v mnoha odborn\u00fdch periodic\u00edch a monografi\u00edch, ale tak\u00e9 v esej\u00edch a rad\u00e1ch pro u\u010ditele z praxe. Dlouhodob\u011b se v\u011bnuje profesn\u00edmu rozvoji u\u010ditel\u016f v Coloradu, ale i na \u00fazem\u00ed cel\u00fdch Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1t\u016f americk\u00fdch. Poskytuje rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9 slu\u017eby u\u010ditel\u016fm z praxe prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm dlouhodob\u00fdch partnerstv\u00ed v oblasti v\u00fdzkumu a profesn\u00edho rozvoje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Erin Marie Furtak, PhD<\/strong>, is Professor of STEM Education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. A former high school science teacher, Erin transitioned into a career studying how science teachers learn and improve their daily classroom practices through formative assessment. In a series of multiple studies, Dr. Furtak has been partnering with teachers, schools, and districts to learn how teachers can design, enact, and take instructional action on the basis of classroom assessments that they design. Her recent publications have examined the ways in which the design and enactment of classroom assessments can promote more equitable participation in science learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Furtak received the 2011 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) and the German Chancellor Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2006). Her research and professional writing has been published in multiple journal articles,  research-and practitioner-oriented books,  book chapters, humorous essays, and advice columns. She also conducts extensive service to the teaching profession through long-term research and professional development partnerships with school districts and organizations in Colorado and across the US.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
