This work is focused on designing and implementation of teaching the topic of mushrooms using 3D printed models, its subsequent analysis and evaluation of its usability in practice. The teaching is also compared with the conventional way of teaching the selected topic, in which 3D models are replaced by photographs of selected representatives of mushrooms. The work includes the design of a test, which is used to analyze the level of knowledge achieved by both groups of pupils. Also, the selected tasks and feedback from the worksheet completed by the pupils during the lesson are evaluated. Based on the analysis of data obtained from the implementation of the lesson and the analysis of the tests and worksheets, the level of knowledge of the pupils of both groups is assessed, the results of both groups are compared, and then the effectiveness of using 3D printed models in teaching is evaluated.
