The task connects percentage reasoning with the real-life context of water hardness and the use of laundry detergent. The qualitative study involved 13 prospective primary and lower-secondary mathematics teachers who individually evaluated contrasting statements, analysed the reasoning behind them, and formulated their own solutions. The findings show that participants focused on different reference quantities, the appropriateness of numerical assumptions, and the relationship between mathematical validity and contextual realism. While several participants successfully identified incorrect reasoning and proposed ways of improving it, some accepted or questioned mathematically or contextually problematic claims. The presentation will highlight how a contextualised STEM task and the Concept Cartoon format can make prospective teachers\u2019 mathematical reasoning visible and create opportunities to discuss different approaches, misconceptions, and connections between mathematical modelling and a real-world context.<\/p>\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Za hranic\u00ed v\u00fdpo\u010dtu: Jak budouc\u00ed u\u010ditel\u00e9 uva\u017euj\u00ed v&nbsp;kontextualizovan\u00e9 STEM \u00faloze<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvek p\u0159edstavuje zp\u016fsob, jak\u00fdm budouc\u00ed u\u010ditel\u00e9 matematiky uva\u017euj\u00ed p\u0159i \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed \u00faloh s t\u00e9matem procenta zasazen\u00e9 do kontextu tvrdosti vody a pou\u017eit\u00ed prac\u00edho prost\u0159edku. \u00daloha byla prezentov\u00e1na formou Concept Cartoon, kter\u00e1 \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016fm nab\u00eddla n\u011bkolik protich\u016fdn\u00fdch tvrzen\u00ed a vytvo\u0159ila prostor pro jejich posuzov\u00e1n\u00ed, zd\u016fvod\u0148ov\u00e1n\u00ed a hled\u00e1n\u00ed vlastn\u00edho \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed. Kvalitativn\u00edho \u0161et\u0159en\u00ed se z\u00fa\u010dastnilo 13 budouc\u00edch u\u010ditel\u016f matematiky pro z\u00e1kladn\u00ed vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed. Anal\u00fdza ukazuje, \u017ee \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edci p\u0159i \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed nepracovali pouze s&nbsp;matematick\u00fdm v\u00fdpo\u010dtem, ale v\u011bnovali pozornost tak\u00e9 volb\u011b referen\u010dn\u00ed veli\u010diny, vhodnosti pou\u017eit\u00fdch \u010d\u00edseln\u00fdch p\u0159edpoklad\u016f a vztahu mezi matematickou spr\u00e1vnost\u00ed a realisti\u010dnost\u00ed kontextu. N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edci dok\u00e1zali identifikovat matematicky \u010di kontextov\u011b problematick\u00e1 tvrzen\u00ed a navrhnout jejich \u00fapravu, zat\u00edmco jin\u00ed n\u011bkter\u00e1 problematick\u00e1 tvrzen\u00ed p\u0159ij\u00edmali nebo o jejich spr\u00e1vnosti pochybovali.
