Doc. PaedDr. Mária Slavíčková, PhD. je vedúcou Oddelenia didaktiky matematiky na Fakulte matematiky, fyziky a informatiky Univerzity Komenského v Bratislave. Vo svojom pedagogickom pôsobení sa zameriava na prípravu budúcich učiteľov matematiky pre druhý stupeň ZŠ a stredné školy. Výskum orientuje na zmysluplné využívanie digitálnych technológií a podporu argumentácie a dôvodenia na hodinách matematiky. Je predsedkyňou organizačného a programového výboru konferencie Dva dni s didaktikou matematiky v Bratislave, podieľa sa na reforme obsahu a formy vzdelávania pre oblasť matematika v rámci Plánu obnovy a odolnosti, koordinátorkou európskeho projektu Horizon 2020 MaTeK, členkou redakčnej rady časopisu „Učitel matematiky“a viacerých komisií, vrátane co-chair jednej z pracovných skupín na plánovanej konferencii ICME 15 v Sydney.

Assoc. Prof. Mária Slavíčková, PhD. is the head of the Section of Didactics in Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University in Bratislava. In her teaching, she focuses on preparing future mathematics teachers for the secondary schools (grades 5-13). Her focus in teaching is on preparing prospective mathematics teachers for secondary schools (grades 5-13). Her research interests include the meaningful integration of digital technologies and supporting argumentation and reasoning in mathematics lessons. Additionally, she contributes to the national curricular reform of mathematics education, chairs the organizational and program committee of the "Two Days with Mathematics Education" conference in Bratislava, and coordinates the European Horizon 2020 project MaTeK. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Učitel matematiky [Mathematics Teacher]" and several committees, including co-chair of one of the working groups at the planned ICME 15 conference in Sydney.
