A visual inspection of an object is commonly done by a moving camera. Since the camera view is broadcast to a human inspector, it is important to avoid chaotic motions. This talk will be about designing a suitable trajectory for the camera with focus on avoiding unnecessary rotations. Such task is a nice twist on the classical problem of rotation minimizing frames, which will be used as an inspiration in approximation of the desired solution.
